Update

I am so sorry that I have left you all hanging...the last two weeks have been a whirlwind.

I had emergency surgery on Sunday, June 1st at 2am because I had a hole in my intestines and it was letting air into my body. The doctors talked to us and they weren't sure if they would fine the hole, if i would make it through the surgery, or make it through the recovery process.

Praise God! I made it through the surgery...they found the hole right away. I have been recovering well. I am still in the hospital, hoping to go home in the next couple of days.

Well, I am tired and heading back to my hospital room. Please keep me in your prayers...I know that you have...thank you!

All my love, Sheri

Our dearest Sheri~
40 nights ago, so many of us started lighting candles and praying for you! Some of us prayed The Our Father, others of us prayed with our own words, some of us prayed with novenas and some in common prayers. We all have been in prayer and will continue to pray for you! As we spoke this very evening thru the wonder of text, you said you were feeling better and so elequently said, our Lord reigns and holds us in the palm of His healing hands! Our God is with you sweet Sheri!!! I love you and pray on this 40th day... Our Father ...
Smooches! Love, Mary

Hey, maybe home wasn't the place for you on Thursday. The hospital can better medicate you---drugs are not always a bad thing:-) You need to stay strong and know that God really does have a plan for all of us. We may not all agree with it, but He loves us and we all love you.

I too don't always feel comfortable posting because my meager words of support seem so tiny compared to your powerful ones of grace, strength and hope. Please know that my husband and I think of you often and pray for you daily. You have become an inspiration to me and I thank God for giving you what you need to make it through this. With Love.

Hey, Sheri, you are loved, prayed for daily, thought about all the time, not only by me but by hundreds of people. And I don't mean one hundred, I mean hundreds! Think about how many people are praying for you. You have thoughts and prayers throughout the world happening for you all the time. You may not know that but remember two of us have quite a pull in some other countries--Ireland and Greece--and there are some pretty religious places in both.

Stay strong, hang in there, and know that God is on your side. It may not seem like it, but He is. You are loved!

Love you,
Michelle

What Michelle said is true I check your blog daily and pray for you daily and if you knew who I was it would really surprise you. You are in many more people's thoughts and prayers than you realize. I probably haven't spoken to you in at least 5 years but here I am checking everyday, praying, caring. Hang in there Sheri. Everyone loves you beyond words.

May you see God's light on the path ahead
When the road you walk is dark.
May you always hear,
Even in your hour of need,
The gentle singing of the lark.
When times are hard may hardness
Not turn your heart to stone,
And may you always remember
You do not walk alone.
~An Irish blessing

I'm praying for you everyday.

As we all pray for Sheri and her family, let us remember Sheri's heartfelt belief:
"What is faith? It is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." Hebrews 11:1
Sheri has faith in our GOD and His everlasting love. She is so close in spirit with our Lord and knows He reigns & holds us all in the palms of His healing hands! Many of us wear the teal cancer wrist bands which are scipted, FAITH, COURAGE, STRENGTH AND HOPE. I believe all of these are surrounded with the love Sheri has so openly and generously shared with us all! My candle is very small now and once again I lite it and pray... Our Father...
With love, Mary
