My devotions this morning were about praising the Lord. The author stated that it is so easy to give God praise when things are going well in our lives. But, when we face difficulties, it is much much harder to keep a praise-filled attitude.
I am finding that to be so true. I have to try my hardest to stay filled with praise. God gave me four months of cancer free life to do many things. I have to dwell on those times.
I have to be reminded that our God is an all powerful and amazing God. He cares for me and is with me no matter what I am going through.
Satan is so tricky in how he gets in to my mind and puts horrible thoughts there. Once they start, it is hard to shut them out. When I feel them coming, I need to pray or run to God's word. That is what I just did and I am feeling much better.
Psalm 106:1 "Praise the Lord. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever."
Please keep me in your prayers.

Sheri-
Please give yourself a break-its ok to feel weak. Lean on everyone else. So many people are right here for you. And being angry is good too-get mad, FIGHTING mad!
You always inspire me!
Kate
You found the strangth once before I know you will find it again. Its ok to get mad and ask why you why again you are human and that is a natural responce to what is happening. I have and will continue to pray for you
Love you H.T.
Sheri, you are always in my prayers of thanksgiving, and my prayers of requests!
I have a dear friend in Mary Ellen who had Breast cancer almost 15 years ago. During her illness, she gathered us all together at St. Michael's for a beautiful healing service. We all were healed that evening as we sang, broke open the Word and expressed our love for Mary Ellen and others. I would like to share a prayer she offered us. It is a prayer I find myself often returning to in times of need.
Lord Jesus Christ
I come in need of wellness;
heal first my heart;
free it of all which shuts out Your love;
ready it to trust and hope only in you;
heal me for God's Glory
and make me a healer of others;
let my wellness be a witness toy Your word in the community of Your people.
Amen
I love you!
Mary
