Friends

I have an AMAZING circle of friends!

They are so uplifting and supportive. Words cannot express how thankful I am for them or how much I love them! God has truly blessed me by putting them in my life.

It seems to me that they each know exactly what to say or do when I need it. Even when I don't think I need anything, they do something and I feel better instantly. Just knowing that they are in my corner, helping me fight this battle, makes me want to keep fighting with everything I have.

To each and everyone one of you, you know who you are, I love you oh so very much! I thank you for all the things that you have done to help me fight this battle. Thank you for letting me cry on your shoulders. Thank you for keeping me positive when I start to get down. Thank you for helping get my mind off of things when I need that. Thank you for our dinners out, our game nights, and our text messages back and forth. Most of all, thank you for your hugs, smiles, and prayers.

I love you guys!

I went to Church this morning and prayed for your tumors to shrink. If there's anything you need or want-please let us know. I'm an empty-nester, and i have plenty of time to cook, bake. shop or whatever. So many people want to help you but don't know what to do.

Sheri, you are such an inspiration to all. I keep praying that this will be the drug that finally works and leaves you cancer-free. You always ask what you can do to help me. Please let me know what I can do to help you. I am blessed to have this opportunity to work with you this year. Judy

Sheri,we pray for you every evening at dinner and in Sunday school. I am Kara and Natalie's teacher and when we ask for prayer requests, they always pray for you. The Lord is in control and has your life planned out for you, trust in him, surrender your thoughts to him, lean on him and he will guide your way. We will continue to pray this new drug will zap that crap! You are precious and we love you. Love , Jack and Jennifer DeBoer

Oh sweet Sheri, as you live each and every day in Faith, Courage, Strength and Hope, know you are surrounded in Love! I went to the Christian book store today only to find one book relating to cancer. I was surprised but glanced through it. After reading a few pages, I was moved and bought it for you. The book, 'Cancer and The Lord's Prayer ....Hope and Healing Through History's Greatest Prayer', is filled with words of encouragement and strength using the one prayer our Lord taught us. The author, Greg Anderson, is a survivor of cancer and founded the Cancer-Recovery Foundation. He asks people afflicted with cancer to make the Lord's prayer the foundation of your journey through cancer. He invites you to make a personal commitment for the next 40days to pray the Lord's prayer each and every day. With tomorrow being the first day of your new treatment, pray with me and everyone else reading this, the Greatest Prayer, The Our Father for the next 40 days. I love you Sheri. Know we are here for you and love you! In Love and Prayer, Mary

Sherri -
How is the new chemo going? I hope the side effects aren't too bad. Remember, to utilize that bed in the nurse's office. It is always waiting for you. I loved Mary's idea for the Our Father and will start saying it every day for you. Hugs. Love, Lynne
